Well, its been a long and interesting winter for New York Yankees fans, and now we get to see the big investments pay off. With the addition of CC Sabathia, Mark Texiera and AJ Burnett, the Yankess should be in the position to take down the AL East again. I think the team will be better than last years, even though I think we will miss Jason Giambi more than people realize, and the staff after Wang is still up in the air, and there are some bullpen questions. But I think Joe Giradi will be able to figure it all out during spring training. All kinds of people are trying to track down Yankees spring training tickets, and with so much excitement around the team I am not surprised.
In a related news, it looks like A-Rod and Jeeter will be the lone Yankees representing in the World Baseball Classic. The Yanks wont let Jorge Posada, CC Sabathia or AJ Burnett play for in the WBC, so its just those two representing. I think I'm still going to get some World baseball Classic tickets because there should be some good games.
And then there is the ALL East. I do think the Yankees are in a great position to take it for the first time in a while. It was not cool seeing the Rays win it, and even worse to see the Sox make it to the AL Championship. I wanted to let you know about this Yankees vs Red Sox blog I found. It makes some really good points, and the guys there are pretty funny. And there is also this Tampa Bay Rays tickets site that I found that has some good info on the upstart Rays. I think its gonna be a lot harder for them this year, but then again I said all year they were falling off at any time.
